We stayed in the Lincoln bedroom over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful experience. We're not frequent B&B visitors, more often staying in hotels and AirBnBs and are complete converts now for our trips to Pittsburgh. Bob and Claire were fantastic hosts, the house is wonderfully historic and amenities (breakfast, towels, water pressure, fridge with beverages, etc.) are truly top notch. Exceptional hosts are good at figuring out the right amount of interaction that guests want and Bob and Claire are in that category. We especially appreciate their willingness to host our entire family for one of our breakfasts. Don't think twice, just book this property 🙂 You'll be glad that you did.

This place was my perfect honeymoon plus. The owners went above and beyond anything I would have expected to make our stay the most memorable days of our lives. Everyone and EVERYTHING in that house is as friendly as can be. And if you have any interest in history or something a little extra this place has it. The owners are great people to talk to and if your lucky they will give you a little more history on the property. All in all a dream come true and a place we plan on staying in the future as well... P.S. you will want the homemade breakfast potatoes for the rest of your life!!!!

We stayed at the Brownsville Road Bed and Breakfast in Pittsburgh this past weekend and had the loveliest time. Bob and Claire have gone through great measures to make this bed and breakfast a stand out. Comfortable and well appointed rooms, lots of fluffy white towels, delicious, nutritious and filling breakfasts made with love, it really is worth a stop.

I wish we lived closer so that we could stay regularly. The accommodations are historical and very comfortable. The food is plentiful and delicious. The couple who run it are so great, we liked just talking with them while eating breakfast. Everything is clean and there are plenty of restaurants near, loved walking around to look at architecture in area.

Wonderful house with some of the most interesting decor. The hosts are some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brownsville Road House Bed and Breakfeast. The house has so much history that makes it an interesting stay. The host are excellent and you are treated like royalty. I hope we can come back again. We are from Florida and have a different type of beauty. This place is highly recommended.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the Brownsville Road House! It’s lovely and historic down to the tiniest detail, and is very clean and safe-feeling to travel to during this time. The owners are PHENOMENAL ~ so welcoming and really worked hard to make our experience special! When you come to stay, make sure you also book a high tea ~ so fun!

This place is absolutely beautiful and the hosts could not be any more welcoming and wonderful. The breakfast is phenomenal!! Hands down the best food.
